                                            PERSONNEL RECORDS (POLICY)

     A.  All official personnel files will be maintained by the Human Resources Office in a secure area.  These
         records shall be updated on a periodic basis to ensure that all personnel actions are current.

     B.  All inactive personnel files shall be deposited in the archives.

     C.  Personnel records will be maintained in accordance with the "Family Rights and Privacy Act."  A log of
         all people who examine personnel records shall be kept with each file.

     D.  Supervisors may keep duplicate for their subordinates provided that they do not contain sensitive or
         confidential material and that the employee can examine his/her file.
